Agreed.

And to go back 3 tackles to blow a penalty (WTF!!!).

”oh let’s play out the full 6 tackles and if they don’t score, we will give them another go” type decision

Pretty sure they have gone back 2-3 tackles before when we had the ball to put someone on report (different game), but then played the handover to handed the ball to the opposition (no going back 3 plays to award us a penalty)
Yeah I hate that, shouldn't be allowed. Ridiculous.

Two Raiders were retrospectively put on report yesterday, but neither time did they go back and give a penalty.

Yep. Dunno how they missed the high tackle on Ronnie either when Atkinson kicked through. It wasn't a bad one for sure but is still a penalty in the modern game.

They missed plenty of penalties for us and missed none for them .

Completely lopsided ..

I’m pretty confused by the rewind also and hope the club is asking for a please explain.

Mitigated by replacing a tackling in the air penalty I assume.

But shouldn’t rewind like that only happen for a sin bin offence spotted by bunker?

Wasn’t even close and borderline not even a penalty - hard to tell if any high contact even made.

I don't like it, not even for a sinbin offence. If it's missed then move on.

Nor should it be

Very dramatic to rewind for that.

Not late, not forceful, fractionally high if at all.
Player only knocked down so hard as he’d planted his feet.

That’s one argument. The other is a sin bin able offence should be sin binned.
Either way, whichever anyone agrees with, no reason to go back to that tackle.

agree, hence……..

I’d be surprised if he was
Didn’t look like anything at all TBH (not even worth a penalty)

And not according to this

Go back for the sinbin if they really have to but don't go back for the penalty.

Agree. This penalty from Ronnie and going back 3 tackles is a disgrace. There needs to be clear guidelines around this.

99% of the time they out people on report the run. Why all of a sudden they decided to go back is baffling.

The only time it should be allowed is if the player has been Ko'd or something and they didn't notice it straight away.

What if that happens and the team with the ball makes 80 metres before it's picked up? Do they go all the way back and give a penalty?

Don't like it at all. Fine, do the sinbin but no going back for a penalty.

I was thinking like a few seconds after the play the ball the ref noticed a player on the ground and the touchee is running in. Not 3 tackles later!

But happy your way.

What was he put on report for? I was watching the Fox mini highlights and it came up after an aerial challenge for the ball, so surely not for that?
