Not sure I feel Turbo is an auto selection anymore, not with a new coach coming in.

Crichton defn gets one spot. Best was good last origin and has been going well this year.

Could Turbo take a wing spot ? Feel like one of the wing spots is open for the taking.

I think Turbo has way more runs on the board in SOO than Crichton, plus adds utility value. Crichton hasn't exactly been setting the world on fire this year either if you're picking on form either. I wouldn't have him as an automatic selection.

I'm talking about overall form, not just origin.

Chricton has won 3 comps, played well in Origin where as Turbo played 11 games and 7 the year before and missed all of 2022 origin season.

Valid point about having a utility value I just dont feel he's an automatic selection anymore.

That said I am happy if he plays, it's not a contentious pick or anything.

I do think a new coach also means some of the slate has been wiped clean too. Picks wont be because you play for Penrith or you played last years origin.

I don't think Crichton winning those comps makes him any more an automatic selection than Luai though. I'm probably a bit biased though as I think he's good, but very overrated.

IMO turbo is an elite player, Crichton isn't.
