While the NRL website is almost never correct when it comes to talking about team lists, it interestingly says that Braden Hamlin-Uele "makes way" for Jack Williams who comes back to the bench. Interesting that is says "makes way" instead of "out injured". But as I said, they probably have no idea he could be injured, probably no research done and it is just assumption.

For me, if BHU is fully fit, there is no way that Hunt and Tuks are ahead of him.

Problem is how often is he fully fit? I love the big ham but it's definitely a bit of an issue.

In addition to following Cronulla, I also follow the Geelong Cats in the AFL (hey, I enjoy sport). Geelong has a number of great older veteran players and this season the coach deliberately rests different players for different games with their absence explained as "managed". Coach Chris Scott has stated that it's about developing the core talent of the entire roster. It's not about just playing the best players every week. He picks the games some of his big stars are back in. I think that this is a very interesting approach for the season. (Maybe it works, maybe it doesn't).
Cronulla has a really good group of forwards this season and the guys coming off the bench appear to be making an impact on games. There is the possibility that with Tuku Hau Tapuha emerging, Coach Fitz may try to manage the veteran forwards and give some of them an occasional rest game. This could be BHU's "managed" game absence.

BHU isn't even up to full speed from his last injury. Also, you'd think that you'd give the lower ranked forwards a go against the lower ranked teams.

I'd say he's either injured, he's got the flu or food poisoning etc, or Fitz isn't happy with his training effort or burger intake or something.

If it was the latter and wasn't happy with his training effort you'd think he'd go back to the Jets to work on it ?

He's got to be injured or unable to play imo

Yep

We often don't get info about lower profile injuries. Pilot mustn't pay enough.

Fitz might mention in coach report later in week.

developing the core talent of the entire roster.

i mentioned the possibility of this a week or so ago ( when Hunt was in RG) , making sure our "'Back up" players are rotating through the team, getting plenty of FG experience t/o the season. Takes a Battle ready 20 man squad to win a Semi

Why don't we just send Fitz an email and ask what's going on with Ham? Journo's have dropped the ball on this one, if it were a big star player we would know every detail and rumour of why he isn't being played.

I'm not that fussed though because we have great forward depth at the moment and everyone is doing their job + Tuks up against his former club on a roll from scoring his debut try against the Storm.

We need to get the HAM right long term.

Berrell hasn't played for weeks and isn't listed on NRL website, Dykes also not named this week anyway.
Toby injury only came up because not named in NRL. Sharks just aren't pushing this info out there unless they can't avoid it.

Relise they aren't pushing out info or leaking (which is a good thing about how our club is running) but I don't think many questions are being asked about these players either.

Fans would be interested to know where these players are at.
